Religious Education

Dear Parents and Students,

The weather is starting to finally feel like Fall; yet, as people often warn me, Indian Summer could be around the corner. As you are reading this newsletter, we are finishing our fourth week of Religious Education. For those of you who like math, this means we are one-sixth of the way through our program for the year.

My hope is that as your student/students return from religious education classes, you ask them what they learned. Even though it is still relatively early in the year, it is important to review with your child/children the lessons of the day.

For our part, our class meetings begin this week.  Meetings will be held in the gym at 5:00 p.m.

The schedule for this week is as follows:

Monday, October 17th – Prep I and Prep II
Tuesday, October 18th – Tuesday Second Grade Classes
Wednesday, October 19th – Wednesday Second Grade Classes

Reminders: The Religious Education Office will be closed Monday, October 24th. There will be no classes.

Religious Education Program is having a Food Drive to benefit our Parish Outreach. It will start the week of October 17th and finish on November 9th.  Items to be included, but not limited to the following:

Cans of gravy, Cans of cranberries, Cans of yams, Cans of green beans, Cans of soups, Cans of fruit cocktail, Bags of stuffing, Cookies.

Our thanks in advance for what I am sure will be a successful food drive.
God bless,
Deacon Rich
